3D CAD I: SolidWorks

Price: $100
Length: 4 hrs
Requirements: Ages 15yr+ or 5-14yr with registered guardian.

This course is an introduction to SolidWorks, a CAD program and 3D modeler. SolidWorks is made for mechanical engineering work rather than more art-oriented work. Students will learn the basics of SolidWorks and will create basic 3D models and 2D drawings of them. We will explore sketch elements and basic part modeling.

3D CAD II: Solidworks

Price: $100
Length: 4 hrs 
Prerequisites: 3D CAD I: SolidWorks
Requirements: Ages 15yr+ or 5-14yr with registered guardian.

This course will focus on the use of Solidworks to create more complicated parts, assemblies, and drawings. Students will learn more advanced modeling features and how to connect parts together into an assembly. The class will also provide a deeper look into 2D drawing features created by the more advanced parts created in the class.
