In this class we will learn basic sewing machine skills. Participants will learn about the parts of a sewing machine, sewing vocabulary, basic sewing notions, how to thread/prep the machines, basic stitches and the when or why we use them. Each participant will practice sewing and will create a take-home project. Participants are welcome to bring their own portable sewing machine, if they are more comfortable on it, or need help learning how to operate it.
