This is a remote class, if the participant wishes to practice the techniques reviewed in class they will need a functional copy of SolidWorks. A registration link will be provided via email prior to the class time.
The first part of this course will cover teaching methodology for CAD software. The second portion of the class will provide an introduction to SolidWorks, a CAD program and 3D modeler. SolidWorks is made for mechanical engineering work rather than more art-oriented work. Students will learn the basics of SolidWorks and will create basic 3D models and 2D drawings of them. We will explore sketch elements and basic part modeling.
All CPE certificates will be emailed upon class completion.
