Each participant will use multiple sewing techniques to create a take-home project. This class is geared to beginner and intermediate level sewers. Participants will learn about the parts of a sewing machine, sewing vocabulary, basic sewing notions, how to thread/prep the machines, basic stitches and the when or why we use them. Equipment and sewing machines are provided by Davinci Makers Lab. Participants are welcome to bring their own portable sewing machine, if they are more comfortable on it, or need help learning how to operate it.
